TEACHER - "THE NATION BUILDER"

Teaching is the mother of all professions and it's undeniable that there are always  some great teachers behind all successful people.

At the onset I congratulate all those in the Teaching Profession for adopting this noble profession.Teachers perform a great role in shaping the student's life from little to much and it's upon the quality of the teaching imparted by the teacher which decides and sets the personality and the future of a child. Teachers are considered the nation builders as they had don the hat of nation building may be either by chance or by choice. But whatever, If it is by chance or by  choice there is no way out except to take their job positively and give  their hundred percent in to it.  Always  remember that you are a person responsible for changing the lives of so many children attached to you and so it should be done with utmost honesty and sincerity. You are the game changer of the show and so its you who can either make or break the future of a child.

Teaching is a profession that makes all other professions possible. We all would have  had at least one teacher in our life who had impacted our lives in many ways. Thus every teacher should impact the lives of their students positively by their teachings. While dealing with children you need to be very careful as not to hurt their feelings or sentiments in any ways. Try to understand them closely with love and affection. It will help you to know the child better to the depth and would help in resolving their problems and gaining their attention. As we all know that every child is gifted with different abilities and talents and thus its not justified to measure them all on a single balance scale.

An effective teaching requires an effective preparation and thus every teachers should plan and prepare well in advance before their lectures to make it more productive. Students imbibe and imitate what the teachers do and thus while dealing with the students it is very necessary to be careful about our speech, gestures and especially our outfits. Students are always under the impression that what their teachers do or say is correct and won't like them to be corrected by others except their teachers.

Good values are being eroded away from the present generation very rapidly. This may be because maximum of the population  is migrating to the cities in search of jobs and better opportunities and hence the joint family system has come to a standstill  and has been replaced by the nuclear family system. The houses where both the parents are employed aren't able to devote quality time to their children and thus they are left in solitude till the parents are not back from their workplace. Their children often do not remain much in touch with them and also do not get the required affection and love which makes them feel isolated and  stubborn. Their attachment with parents remain only for  financial gains but it was not the case in the Joint Family System where the children use to acquire both values and knowledge from the grand parents and were never made felt isolated. The changing behavior of the children is the effect of our preferences and changing lifestyles which we have adopted to have  better living standards and are unable to come out of it. Parents at present have become helpless as their kids won't listen to them and are completely out of their control. Parents should understand that this is due to their wrong pampering and upbringing which is making them face this embarrassment. 

The onus of changing these children and giving them the right values has eventually become the duty of the teachers. They now have to play the role of the parents too coupled with teaching. Thus the teacher has varied and diverse roles to perform as a facilitator of a teacher, a guide, a mentor and parents too. Understanding the diverse roles a teacher has to perform you might be aware as of now the importance of teachers in the society.

Thus being an Educator, you have an important position in the society. It may be that your services won't be acknowledged by the masses or you may not get the required respect and recognition or remuneration  but you should contemplate on the happiness which you derive by educating the students and thereby continue contributing to the nation. You should feel proud that you are an asset to the nation. We need to pat our backs and move forward. We should believe in our hard work as one day for sure it will bear fruits. Never feel low as you are bestowed with a significant duty of shaping the future of the nation and thus keep your focus upright. Be always a role model for your students and never let your values as a teacher degrade. Please take good care of that.
